About the Job
The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Catalogue Coordinator to manage and elevate our digital product presence. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our e-commerce storefront, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of product listings, from initial onboarding and SEO-optimized content creation to ongoing maintenance and performance analysis.

Job Description:
Product Onboarding and Management:
  • Reviewing new products or product updates provided by suppliers or internal teams.
  • Uploading product information, images, and pricing onto the e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Etsy, Amazon)
  • Ensuring that product listings are accurately categorised, tagged, and optimised for search.
Content Creation and Optimization:
  • Writing product descriptions, specifications, and features to highlight key selling points.
  • Selecting and editing product images to ensure they meet brand standards and enhance visual appeal.
  • Optimising product titles, descriptions, and metadata for search engine optimization (SEO).
Catalogue Maintenance and Quality Assurance:
  • Regularly auditing and updating existing product listings to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Monitoring product availability, pricing, and inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure that product information is consistent and error-free.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analysing sales performance, customer behaviour, and product metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Generating reports and dashboards to track catalogue performance, including product views, conversions, and revenue.
  • Using insights from data analysis to make data-driven decisions regarding product assortment and merchandising.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including products, marketing, and operations, to align on catalogue strategies and priorities.
  • Communicating with internal teams to obtain product information, updates, and assets.
  • Providing support and training to other team members on catalogue-related processes and tools.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the online shopping experience through improved product presentation, navigation, and merchandising.
  • Implementing best practices and industry standards for catalogue management and e-commerce optimization.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and new technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and product management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to navigate spreadsheet applications.
  • Ability to follow processes and guidelines effectively.
  • Good written English skills for product descriptions and communication.
  • Availability to work full-time and able to come to the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
  • Previous experience in data entry, catalogue management, or e-commerce operations is preferred but not required.
