About the Job
The Role
  • As a Content Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and executing content marketing strategies to attract and engage the target audience.
  • Your responsibilities span across blog management, SEO expertise, content media hub organization, distribution strategies, and overall content strategy development.
  • Collaboration with content creators, marketing, and sales teams is essential to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned content that drives reach, reputation, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Marketing:
  • Assist in developing and executing content marketing strategies to attract and engage the target audience.
  • Execute content marketing initiatives to promote products, engage customers, and drive conversions.
Blog Management:
  • Proactively pitch article and creative content ideas to contribute to the content calendar.
  • Write multiple blog posts per week, showcasing versatility in content creation.
  • Create various content types, including blog articles, infographics, email newsletters, web and landing pages, production scripts, reports, press releases, and paid editorial placements.
  • Manage content production from ideation to publication, demonstrating expertise in channel platforms, including front- and back-end management in tools like WordPress. 
SEO Expertise:
  • Monitor day-to-day channel performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, ahrefs, and other data tracking platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth SEO and keyword research to inform content creation.
  • Stay current with ongoing SEO industry trends, news, and updates, proposing new strategies and tactics accordingly. 
Content Media Hub:
  • Contribute to the organisation and maintenance of a centralised content media hub.
  • Ensure easy access to relevant and up-to-date content for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the organisation and management of the content media hub, ensuring content assets are properly tagged, categorised, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Content Distribution, Syndication, and Optimisation:
  • Support the implementation of content distribution plans, ensuring effective distribution and syndication across various channels and platforms.
  • Plan and implement content distribution strategies, leveraging various channels and platforms to maximise visibility and engagement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimise content based on data insights.
Content Strategy:
  • Assist in developing content strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify content themes, topics, and formats that resonate with the target audience.
  • Support the development and execution of the content strategy, aligning content initiatives with business objectives and target audience preferences. 
Managing and Producing Best-in-Class and Engaging Content:
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality and engaging blog articles, videos, and other content assets.
  • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages.
Driving Reach, Reputation, and Revenue with Content:
  • Monitor content performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve reach, enhance brand reputation, and drive revenue growth through content initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase brand reach, enhance reputation, and drive revenue through content marketing efforts.
Cross-Funnel Optimisation:
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimise content across different stages of the sales funnel.
  • Ensure content is tailored to meet the needs of the target audience and support conversion goals.
Content Best Practices:
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in content marketing.
  • Implement content best practices, including effective storytelling, audience targeting, and content personalisation, to maximise the impact of content initiatives.
The Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital strategy, with a strong preference for a candidate with content strategy and editorial background.
  • Able to generate long-form and short form writing for blogs and social media copywriting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
  • Experience in conducting thorough keyword research and implementing SEO best practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales.
  • High editorial standards with a balance of creativity and accuracy in content creation.
